Overview

This is one of the most important roles we have in our restaurant. You will be the first person a customer sees when entering the store. Your smile and approachable body language will start their experience.

It is important that we are well presented and ready to assist with any queries. While many may think the role is primarily about cleaning tables, there is so much more involved. Please read carefully the areas you will be responsible for maintaining and cleaning:

• Greeting customers and having light conversations
• Creating a happy and safe environment
• Ensuring tables are cleaned and ready for customers
• Assisting customers with kiosk usage
• Taking food to tables
• Interacting with children by providing coloring sheets and crayons
• Sweeping and mopping the floor
• Emptying in-store and car park bins
• Maintaining cleanliness of toilets, including deep cleaning
• Detailed cleaning on quieter days, such as cleaning under tables
• Dusting
• Discussing restaurant surveys and offers with customers
• Assisting staff with taking orders on tills
• Assembling food during busy periods
• Setting up and participating in charity events
• Selling raffle tickets
• Participating in themed events (Easter, Halloween, Christmas dress-up)

This role is crucial for ensuring customers feel comfortable and confident approaching you for assistance. You will be at the heart of the store, creating feel-good moments for all customers. The positive energy you display will encourage them to return.

You are expected to maintain high standards of customer service at all times.
