Job Title: Customer Care Assistant (Trainee or Experienced)

Location: Colwyn Bay

Salary: Above National Minimum Wage with opportunities for qualifications, pay progression, and career development

Hours: Full-Time (37.5 hours per week)

What You’ll Do

  1. Serve as the first point of contact for patients, offering a welcoming and professional service both in person and on the phone.
  2. Provide patients with information about their treatment plans, appointments, and financial options.
  3. Manage scheduling, patient records, and inquiries with attention to detail.
  4. Demonstrate empathy and professionalism when handling patient concerns or queries.
  5. Support the clinical team in delivering high-quality care by ensuring efficient communication and coordination of services.
  6. Participate in training programs and actively develop your skills to grow within the group.
Key Requirements

  1. Experience: Prior experience in a customer-facing role and providing excellent customer service.
  2. Problem Solving: Proven ability to manage challenges and provide solutions in a fast-paced environment.
  3. Resilience: Able to handle pressure and remain calm and professional in a customer-facing role.
  4. Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an excellent telephone manner.
  5. Team Player: Willingness to support colleagues in achieving the shared goal of delivering the best possible patient care.
  6. Multitasking: Ability to prioritise and manage workload efficiently, especially when handling changing priorities.
  7. Technology: Competence with IT systems and Microsoft Office.
  8. Education: GCSEs, including a minimum of grade C in English and Maths.
  9. Driving Licence: A full UK driving licence is required, with flexibility to provide cover across different practice locations if needed.
Exceptional Candidates May Also Offer

  1. Experience in the healthcare or dental sector.
  2. Knowledge of Data Protection, GDPR, and confidentiality practices.
  3. Welsh language skills (speaking, reading, and writing).
  4. A keen interest in dentistry and patient care.
