As this leading food manufacturer continues its successful journey of growth and innovation, it has an opening in its NPD team for a Culinary Development Technologist to join their successful and growing team in a busy department, operating in an innovation-centric, high growth organisation.

With end-to-end remit to innovate, develop, trial and launch, as well as develop and refine food product formulations, ensuring products meet safety, quality and regulatory standards. You will also collaborate to bring innovative and on-trend food ranges to market as well as engage with wider internal teams and external stakeholders, with active involvement across all areas of NPD.

About You

Essentially, you must have some experience of working in NPD in the food or beverages industry, with advanced knowledge of food science principles and technologies, as well as experience in product formulation and food safety/quality assurance. Experience of process development would be highly beneficial.

Having a passion for developing great foods, you will be an effective team worker, with highly effective project management skills and experience. Ideally, you will have the ability to conduct market research and interpret market data, but essentially you must be a great collaborator and excellent communicator. A passion for all things food would also be advantageous.
