The below job description will outline this position of: CTV Marine Engineer (Onboard)

Responsibilities:

  1. Diagnose and resolve technical issues promptly to ensure minimal downtime of vessel systems
  2. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on mechanical and basic electrical systems
  3. Keep accurate records of all maintenance, repairs, and operational logs
  4. Monitor the performance of engines and other mechanical systems
  5. Ensure compliance with all relevant maritime regulations and safety standards
  6. Work effectively with other crew members and assist with the training of less experienced staff
  7. Participate in the regular inspection and servicing of equipment onboard
  8. Carry out all duties in accordance with STCW regulations and company policies

Qualifications and Requirements:
  1. British / Right to Work in the UK
  2. 1-2 years experience in a similar role
  3. Strong mechanical knowledge and experience
  4. Basic electrical knowledge
  5. All STCW certifications to be in date, including ENG1
