Main duties of the jobPortsmouth Hospitals University NHS Trust is looking for an experienced radiographer to fill the role of modality superintendent for the CT service. Working in partnership with the MRI superintendent, the post holder will be jointly responsible for operational leadership of the CT and MRI scanning service, function as an expert and professional leader, and be responsible for clear and visible managerial, clinical, and strategic leadership of the CT scanning service.

They will create systems to ensure the team remain connected to their own and the organisation's core values.

Person SpecificationQualifications Essential- BSc (Hons) degree or Diploma in Diagnostic Radiology
- HCPC registration
- Post graduate qualification in CT
Desirable- Management qualification
- Attended Radiation Protection Supervisor course.
- Post graduate qualification in MRI
Experience Essential- Managerial experience
- Management and supervision of staff
- Continuing professional development
Desirable- Wide ranging managerial experience in a leading role
- Experience in budget management.
