V-Recruit are currently working alongside a reputable and longstanding Landscaping and Grounds Maintenance contractor to recruit an experienced Team Leader/Chargehand, to help lead their Landscaping/Grounds Maintenance teams on projects around mainly South & West Yorkshire.

Our client undertakes all aspects of commercial and domestic Landscaping in Yorkshire, including hard and soft landscaping, tree surgery, grounds maintenance and fence erecting.

We are looking for an experienced soft landscaper with the ability to lead a team.

Your duties would include:

Leading a team of 1-3 other Operatives on various projects.
Completing all aspects of turfing, seeding, planting shrubs, flower beds, trees, etc.
Reading drawings and ensuring projects are completed on time and to specifications.
Following risk assessments and method statements to ensure safe, efficient working.

Salary: £14.50 per hour

Temp to perm work available for hardworking, reliable candidates.

Working hours: 7.45am - 4.30pm (Friday 3.30pm finish)

39 hours paid per week

The right candidates will have their CSCS card and a full UK driving licence with access to their own transport due to remote yard location and requirement to drive the company vehicles.

We are looking for someone with previous soft or hard landscaping, or grounds maintenance experience. PA Spraying Licences, or any other Landscaping-specific qualifications would be advantageous, although not necessarily required.
