Job description

Barnsley Recruitment Services are seeking a dedicated and hardworking CSCS Labourer to join our client's team working in social housing in and around Nottingham. The ideal candidate will possess a valid CSCS card and be ready to contribute to various construction tasks. This role is essential for maintaining the efficiency of our operations and ensuring that all work is carried out safely and effectively.

Duties

• Assist in the preparation and clearing of construction sites.
• Carry out general labouring tasks as directed by site supervisors.
• Load and unload materials, ensuring they are stored safely.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area.
• Follow health and safety regulations at all times.
• Support skilled tradespeople in their duties as required.
• Report any issues or hazards to the site supervisor promptly.

Minimum Requirements

Must have a valid CSCS card, and CIS registered.

Experience

• Asbestos Awareness is required.
• Previous experience in a labouring role is essential.
• A valid CSCS card is required to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when necessary.
• Strong communication skills to liaise with team members and supervisors.
• A proactive attitude towards health and safety practices on site.
