Criminal Justice Team Manager
Working hours: Monday-Friday 9am-5pm with one weekday evening shift until 7pm.
Location: Irford House, Seacroft Crescent LS14 6PA (location can be discussed if needed).

About the role...
An exciting opportunity has become available for the position of Criminal Justice Team Manager based within our Forward Leeds Team. Being a Team Manager is a diverse, challenging and rewarding role, the key duties you will undertake are:

  • You will manage the Criminal Justice team, consisting of 9 frontline workers, 1 administrator, 1 group worker and 1 clinician.
  • You will work with courts to deliver DRR and ATR programmes.
  • You will work with prisons to deliver continuity of care where prison leavers continue their treatment in the community.
  • You will be required to communicate well to a range of stakeholders/service users/police/probation and prison services.
  • The role is operational and strategic.

About you...

  • You will have a passion for making a difference and fair chances for all should be at the core of everything you do.
  • You will have experience working for a drug treatment service and have a strong understanding of substance misuse.
  • You will have some experience and understanding of managing a team, including organising and overseeing a project from beginning to end.
  • You will have knowledge and understanding of interventions, including brief interventions, experience of effective supervision and development of staff within your team.
  • Ideally, you will hold a Level 3 NVQ in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
