Waythrough launched in October 2024 following the merger of Humankind and Richmond Fellowship. Our vision is to break down the barriers that stop people getting the support they need to live a life they value. We tackle poverty and disadvantage in communities, through mental health, drug and alcohol, housing and related support.

We have almost 200 services around England – and nearly 3,500 amazing staff and volunteers who run them. Every year our services support around 125,000 people.

About the role…

Join our dedicated team as a Criminal Justice Worker, and be at the forefront of driving change within our community. Your responsibilities will encompass:

  1. Conducting holistic assessments that factor in the distinct needs of each individual.
  2. Offering personalised one-to-one support that addresses underlying challenges.
  3. Crafting and delivering effective care packages aimed at preventing first-time offenses.
  4. Collaborating with a diverse array of individuals and partners to ensure comprehensive care.
  5. Work Hours: Primarily Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm, with occasional flexibility for work outside these hours.

About you

To excel in this role, you should possess:

  1. A deep-seated commitment to criminal justice and community welfare.
  2. Exceptional assessment skills to identify individualised needs.
  3. Strong communication aptitude for productive interactions with diverse individuals.
  4. Problem-solving acumen to design impactful care packages.
  5. Empathy and a non-judgmental approach to supporting individuals in need.
