The Role
Based within the Northallerton Hub, and taking a multi-disciplinary approach, working with partner agencies such as Police, Probation, Prisons, and other stakeholders, you will provide a targeted approach for people using the North Yorkshire Horizons service, from harm reduction and brief interventions through to structured treatment, ensuring that every recovery journey is tailored to each individual's priorities. This ambition will be achieved through working across a variety of criminal justice settings, such as probation offices and the secure estate.
In addition to delivering a range of PSI interventions, the post holder will also facilitate court-imposed Drug Rehabilitation Requirements (DRRs) and Alcohol Treatment Requirements (ATRs) and oversee the prescribed treatment for a caseload of people within the Criminal Justice system. The post holder will be expected to work closely with Police, Probation, Prisons, and other appropriate partners and stakeholders within office-based, community, and outreach settings.
