Criminal Defence Solicitor

Nottingham

This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of the country’s largest and best recognised criminal law firms.

The firm has a long-established history and prides itself on being close-knit with a supportive atmosphere, where staff wellbeing is prioritised. It offers flexibility in working arrangements and values long-term staff retention and progression, as evidenced by several team members who have advanced within the firm.

This role is for a Criminal Defence Solicitor with between 0 and 5 years of post-qualification experience. While duty accreditation is preferred, it is not mandatory. The role involves working within a supportive team led by a highly experienced team.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide legal support in crime-related cases
  2. Collaborate with a team that includes directors, senior solicitors, trainees, paralegals, and secretaries
  3. Engage in both private and legal aid work
