About the role

Join our team as a Crew Leader - Services and Facilities Maintenance, where you'll lead a team in coordinating and executing maintenance activities while ensuring consistent application of asset management processes. You'll play a crucial role in maintaining the reliability and safety of our non-processing infrastructure including roads, roofing, fire systems, buildings and facilities, HVAC (heating, cooling and ventilation) and utilities.

This role will lead Services & Utilities maintenance across site delivering routine maintenance and major repairs in the portfolio. You will manage and supervise maintenance (including breakdowns) activities, ensuring tasks are completed safely and efficiently, and resolve on-the-job issues related to maintenance activities. Additionally, you will monitor working practices and adherence to safety procedures to ensure the safety of employees working in the area.

You will be working together with two Coordinators (direct reports) and closely with our contracting partners (indirect reports/roles of influence) to:

  • Lead improvements in the site’s HSE performance with Visual Engaging Leadership

  • Manage contractor performance, cost and quality whilst fostering strong relationships with our service providers

  • Develop and coach your team to be their best and progress with their goals/growth

  • Own and build the budget for this portfolio and deliver all works in the budget

  • Foster a culture where we work collaboratively with our contracting partners to improve the day-to-day conditions on site while making sustainable improvements for the medium to long term

  • Quality Assurance: Dedication to maintaining high standards and quality in all maintenance activities to ensure the reliability and longevity of assets.
