Job Title: Credit Manager
Location: Coventry
Salary: Up to £45,000 plus monthly target bonus
Type: Office-Based (5 days a week)

Our longstanding client is looking for a dynamic Credit Manager to be a key player in building a brand-new team in their Coventry office. In this pivotal role, you will have the opportunity to shape processes and drive performance, ensuring our credit management operations run smoothly and effectively.

What You'll Do:

1. Lead the new credit management team, ensuring the achievement of monthly collection targets.
2. Develop and implement effective processes to maximise debt recovery while delivering outstanding customer service.
3. Monitor and analyze team performance, making adjustments to strategies as needed to drive improvements.
4. Manage escalated queries and complaints, ensuring timely resolutions and identifying root causes.
5. Collaborate with other departments to enhance overall business performance and customer satisfaction.
6. Mentor and develop team members, recognising and rewarding their contributions.

What They're Looking For:

1. A minimum of 2 years' experience in credit management or a similar role.
2. Proven success in achieving targets and driving performance.
3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships.
4. Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to resolve conflicts effectively.
5. Self-motivated and proactive, with a positive attitude towards challenges.
6. Proficient in Microsoft Excel (including VLOOKUP) and other relevant software.
