Job description

With offices in the UK, USA and South Africa, we are a growing Travel Management Company specialising in the charity, academic and not-for-profit sectors, and we are proud and passionate about what we do.

We are currently looking for an experienced Credit Controller (German speaking) to ensure accuracy and completeness of the sales ledger and communicate with clients regarding outstanding debt. The role will suit an experienced credit controller who enjoys working in a high-volume role and has a proactive, determined and professional style. Primary responsibilities will include:

  • Effectively managing a share of the debtor book of the company
  • Daily collection of due amounts via telephone, email and letter
  • Investigating and collecting evidence to support debt collection
  • Building strong relationships with the finance departments of our client base
  • Resolving unallocated receipts / credit balances
  • Dealing with and resolving queries in a prompt manner through a helpdesk ticketing system
  • Liaising with clients following incorrect or missing remittances

Minimum Requirements:

  • Proven Credit Controller experience gained in a high-volume environment.
  • Demonstrable energy, flexibility, proactivity and a “can do” attitude
  • The ability to work independently, and within a team, to achieve individual and departmental targets
  • Good analytical and Excel skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve the desired outcome.
  • A solid understanding of finance is essential (AAT qualification or above is desirable)
  • Fluent in German
