Job description

We are looking for a confident and professional candidate with strong communication skills and at least 12-months' credit control experience.

This role will be fast-paced where you'll work directly with the Contracts & Licensing team to support with credit control and sales administration processes.

  • Large financial institutions such as banks, insurance companies, pension providers and investment firms
  • Financial advisers and planners including IFAs, wealth managers and financial planning firms

What you'll do

  • Credit Control responsibility for Defaqto and other entities within the Defaqto family
  • Assist with the processing of customer sales orders
  • Raise customer invoices
  • Respond to customer contract and licensing enquiries
  • Process customer contract cancellation requests
  • Ensure cash receipts are allocated in a timely and accurate manner
  • Assist with the processes relating to the integration of newly acquired businesses

In addition, from time to time you will:

  • Help with group and statutory audit queries
  • Support the financial reporting team

What you'll need to succeed

Essential:

  • A minimum of 1 year’s work experience within a finance function, focusing on credit control and cash management
  • Sales administration experience
  • Previous experience using accounting software packages, such as SAGE
  • Experienced user of Microsoft Office (particularly MS Excel)

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of CRM tools such as Microsoft Dynamics
  • Experience of contract management

Hybrid Working

The Contracts & Licensing team work on a hybrid basis from our Haddenham office. Your role will require you to be in the office at least twice each week, preferably three times. There is free onsite parking and we're close to the Haddenham and Thame Parkway railway station (London to Marylebone line).
