Job description

Role: Credit Controller
Location: Ellesmere Port
Type: Permanent
Salary: £25,396- £30,000 per annum (DOE)
Hours: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

Russell Taylor Group has a fantastic opportunity for a Credit Controller to join our manufacturing client based in Ellesmere Port.

The Role:
  1. Liaise with customers regarding overdue payments, issuing reminders and working to resolve outstanding balances.
  2. Maintain accurate records of customer credit accounts, payment history, and credit limits on the system.
  3. Setting up new supplier accounts.
  4. Provide administrative support to the sales team, including preparing sales orders, quotations, and customer correspondence.
  5. Managing customer credit limits and accounts.
  6. Assist in the processing of sales orders, ensuring all relevant paperwork is completed accurately.
  7. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, acting as a point of contact for any credit-related or sales support issues.
  8. Handle customer queries related to orders, delivery schedules, and product availability.
  9. General administration.
The Candidate:
  1. Previous experience in credit control would be advantageous.
  2. Good communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with other departments.
  3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  4. Knowledge in SAGE 50 accounts would be an advantage.
  5. Computer literacy in application of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.
  6. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  7. Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
