Job description

Part-Time Credit Administrator
25hrs per week, working 5hrs per day Mon-Fri
Based at our Elland office

We now have a new vacancy for a Credit Administrator to join us.

So, what’s the job about?
The team supports the business's cash flow and allows everyone access to relevant documentation in the event of a dispute. Your job will be to ensure all supporting documentation is stored correctly to enable easy retrieval. You'll be responsible for scanning physical documents to produce digital copies. You'll then sort into document types, scan, verify and upload into the relevant folders.

You'll need a keen eye for detail, and notify the credit team of any alterations to the documentation to enable them to act quickly and reduce delays in invoice payments. On a weekly basis, you'll also do checks of all documentation returned from our despatch sites and notify your team leader of any discrepancies. In addition to this, you should carry out regular checks to ensure the file is stored correctly and is legible.

What skills are required?

  • Experience in a similar role would be ideal - doesn't need to be finance focused though
  • The ability to work in an organised manner, prioritising is a must
  • You need to love dealing with people at all levels and from all walks of life!
  • Strong attention to detail is essential and a love of problem-solving will stand you in good stead!
