The A Side: A Day in The Life

As a Creator and AV Manager working in an international department, your primary role will be assisting the Senior Creator and AV Manager in coordinating international creator campaigns across all major social platforms on behalf of UMG labels and territories.

As part of this, you will create briefs, develop creative strategy, regularly speak to markets around the world, assess and approve creator content, manage project budgets and billing, deal with legal teams when necessary, and pull together comprehensive post-campaign analysis for labels and senior management.

A big focus will be working alongside our Commercial Tech team to develop our in-house creator platform and roll it out to multiple markets - working on our roadmap, taking in feedback from markets and labels, and working through the overall project plan.

The B Side: Skills & Experience

Be Analytical

  • You will also be looking at trends in social data and evaluating how we can better engage fans and creators to use our music on social media platforms, with a real focus on analysing and evaluating different campaign strategies and finding insights we can apply to future projects.

Be Organised

  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and across multiple projects spanning many different areas of the business, able to deliver under pressure with real attention to detail.
  • Ability to pull together presentations that distil complex information in a digestible way.

Be Collaborative

  • This role sits within Commercial Affairs, a multi-functional international service centre, so you will regularly interact with our internal teams – partnerships, analysis, technology, international marketing, and many more: projects will vary and relationship building is key.
  • You will also be working across events and experiences to develop our in-person creator offering.
  • You will also speak to multiple UMG contacts across the world including market leads and record label executives - this is a relationship-driven role.

Person Specification

Necessary

  • A deep understanding of social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram, Snap + YouTube necessary – Discord & Twitch desirable).
  • Proactive and ready to build out growth opportunities independently.
  • A people’s person – relationship driven and keen to help, no task is too small.
  • Keen to learn and curious – we work across so many different business units across so many genres, there is a lot to take in!
  • Analytical and data driven – keen to understand the why, not just the what.
  • High project management and organisational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
