Job description

Role

In this role you will help to facilitate the smooth running of our new Creative Writing Group. This involves helping to boost the confidence of a group with a variety of writing styles, interests, and ways of working.

You will facilitate discussions about the craft and practicalities of writing, sharing skills and ideas, and exploring topics. Volunteers at our Norwich based writing group describe the role as a real privilege and incredibly rewarding, especially when people share their writing for the first time. Becoming a volunteer is a wonderful opportunity to make a difference and support your local community. Vision Norfolk also offers regular advice, support, and training and payment of out of pocket expenses agreed in advance.

Time Commitment

Second Friday of every month, 1pm to 3pm, in our Great Yarmouth Hub, 12 Hall Quay, NR30 1HP.

Vision Norfolk aims to improve the confidence, skills, and social engagement of vision impaired people of all ages in Norfolk by delivering high-quality services and practical and emotional support which enables them to live independent and fulfilled lives.
