As a VP Creative Marketing Lead / Storyteller within our technology organization, you will play a unique role in creating a culture of storytelling that helps us deliver our objectives. You will find and enhance an existing network of like-minded colleagues, finding creative ways to work within the JPMC machine to achieve your goals. On your own and with this network, you'll promote the creation and appreciation of a variety of stories, learning as you go to see what resonates best with the audience, and for what benefit.
Job responsibilities
- Create stories of technology transformation work through video, digital media and written communication.
- Create innovative ways of highlighting the work being done by engineering teams.
- Bring to life future product and service visions.
- Find creative ways to remain within relevant comms and brand guidelines. m
- Build storytelling capability and awareness, by creating and delivering storytelling training for colleagues, and seeking out platforms to tell your own story.
- Create and maintain a backlog of storytelling priorities to ensure the team is right-sized and focused on high-value activity.
- Create a measurement framework for storytelling, so that we can trace ROI of any activities.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Experience of storytelling within a complex environment.
- Video creation (including storyboarding, shooting and use of tools like Adobe Premiere).
- Digital design (including posters, emails, digital artefacts and use of tools like Figma).
- Written communication (corporate comms, blog posts).
- Ability to manage a backlog, with necessary sizing and prioritisation.
- Experience of working with business stakeholders, engineers, and other members of an agile team.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Experience of doing similar work within financial services or similar industry would be an advantage, but not essential.
- Animation skills.
- Evidence of overcoming blockers to innovation and storytelling.
