As Creative Director, you will be working across all of Bauer Publishing platforms and brands and be responsible for the partnership and traded revenue within their agency hubs. You will report to the Head of Creative Partnerships, however, will work closely with various stakeholders within the business.

As well as delivering creative commercial revenue objectives, you'll be responsible for driving our engagement, profile and reputation externally within their agency teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. You will hunt for new briefs within the agency hubs.
  2. You will support strategists and client leads on all Bauer Publishing creative responses within the Collective hub.
  3. You will write market leading responses to briefs.
  4. You will deliver schematics alongside creative planning teams.
  5. You must be an excellent team-player with a proactive mindset.
  6. As well as working closely with colleagues in the publishing business, you will also be expected to be closely aligned with the BMA collective audio hub.
  7. You will have gravitas and credibility with a strong profile and reputation in the industry.
  8. You will have an in-depth understanding of the broader media marketplace with the ability to construct channel-based and strategy-based arguments to drive market share.
  9. You will be a strategic thinker with the ability to inspire change and challenge.
  10. You will generate new business from partnership teams and grow market share.
  11. You will respond to briefs on time and will have strong diary management and organizational skills.

What You'll Bring:

  1. Print, digital and events media sales expertise.
  2. Knowledge on how to create winning market strategies.
  3. Keep up to date on the latest trends, tech and competitor activity.
  4. Promote and expand the company's commercial activity that will generate revenues and lead to sustainable growth.
  5. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence agency partnership teams.
  6. In-depth knowledge and ownership of internal company processes, systems, finance, planning in commercial team and marketing and of course selling – plus broad knowledge of generalist publishing including publishing, data, legal, events, marketing, HR practices.
  7. Confident and expert in and for all Bauer platforms – has a platform agnostic view and can get traction on projects and products for commercial team and customers.
  8. Up to date knowledge of current cross platform measurement and full campaign analysis and ability to drive capability for future.
  9. Curious, creative, able to innovate and inspire teams to follow lead, carefully managing BAU whilst carving path for future – ambidextrous leadership skills.
  10. Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
  11. Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
