Job Overview:
The Creative Director, based in the UK, will lead a team of art directors, designers, and content creators, collaborating with department leads and the Director of Content & Creative to build a high-performing team. You’ll drive impactful ideas, maintain brand consistency, and manage the entire creative process from concept to post-production. With a digital-first, omnichannel approach, you’ll optimize content across platforms, integrate UX into creative solutions, and foster relationships with global teams and brand partners. Collaborating with digital and D2C teams, you’ll produce consumer-driven content that elevates brand presence.
Key Responsibilities:
·Creative Strategy and Vision: Develop and communicate a strong creative vision aligned with brand objectives to deliver high-quality and impactful content.
·Team Leadership and Development: Lead, mentor, and inspire a diverse team of creatives, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
· Project Management and Oversight: Oversee all stages of the creative process, ensuring projects meet timelines and budgets while optimizing resources.
·Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with marketing, product, digital, and UX teams to ensure cohesive brand messaging across all channels.
·Brand Consistency and Quality Control: Maintain brand consistency in all outputs and approve designs and content to align with strategic objectives.
·Client and Stakeholder Relations: Build and manage relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders, gathering feedback to refine creative strategies.
·Innovation and Trend Analysis: Stay current with industry trends and technology to drive creative innovation and improve output.
·Content Optimization and Platform Adaptation: Embrace a digital-first approach, optimizing content for web, social, mobile, and D2C channels.
Qualifications:
·Education: Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, marketing, fine arts, communications, or a related field; a master’s degree is advantageous.
·Experience: Minimum of 8 years in a creative role, with 3-5 years in senior leadership. Agency or brand experience with a successful track record preferred.
·Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a creative team, with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to provide constructive feedback.
·Creative and Strategic Thinking: Skilled in conceptual creativity and strategic thinking, capable of translating brand objectives into impactful ideas.
·Technical Proficiency: Proficient in design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite), digital marketing tools, and UX/UI principles. Experience with video and multimedia content is beneficial.
·Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective team collaboration and client presentations.
·Portfolio: A robust portfolio of successful creative projects across platforms that showcases originality and brand alignment.
