Job description

Sports Directory is seeking a detail orientated Creative Artworker to join the team and be responsible for creating visually appealing and user-friendly catalogues and print material that showcase our extensive range of sports equipment and resources.

You'll manage the catalogue design process, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment with our brand. This includes:

  • Crafting Stunning Page Layouts: Design visually engaging layouts that showcase products in the best possible light.
  • Refining and Proofing: Review, proofread, and incorporate feedback to perfect designs.
  • Keeping Designs Fresh: Stay ahead of design trends to ensure our catalogues remain innovative and appealing.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with buying and marketing teams to meet each catalogue's unique requirements.
  • Print Production Expertise: Prepare high-quality artwork for print, liaising with printers and suppliers to ensure smooth and timely delivery.
  • Event & Exhibition Branding: Create design assets for events and exhibitions, including stands, banners, promotional materials, and signage, maintaining a cohesive and professional brand presence.

What's next?

Our Recruitment Team will be reviewing applications and all candidates will receive a response, whether you are successful or unsuccessful. Shortlisted applicants may be asked to confirm a few key details before being booked in for a first stage interview with the Recruiter - this will be behaviourally focussed and centred around how you align with our Culture and Values. If successful we anticipate two further interview stages with the Hiring Manager/wider team which will be more technically focussed and could include a presentation/task so we can see your skills in action.

The Ideal Candidate Will Possess:

  • Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite: Proficient in InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
  • Exceptional Attention to Detail: Strong organizational and project management skills to juggle multiple tasks seamlessly.
  • Creative Drive: A motivated and focused approach to transforming ideas from concept to polished print.
  • Experience: At least 1 year in a similar role with a solid understanding of the printing process. However, we welcome and will consider applications from all levels of experience.

Desirable:

  • Previous experience with EasyCatalogue is a plus.
