Are you an experienced and passionate Teacher or Tutor with a desire to work with young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health Difficulties (SEMH) or Neurodiversity? Have you had experience of working with young people with mental health needs, and would like to further develop those skills? Are you a creative and engaging practitioner, able to inspire and motivate disengaged young people?
About the Job:
Working in a creative setting in Hanley town centre
Temporary long term contract
1 or 2 days per week
Delivering Functional Skills and GCSE Maths as part of a creative curriculum to college aged students
About You:
Experienced Tutor / Teacher
Able to hold student attention and focus with excellent communication skills
Promote happiness, independence and an enjoyment of learning
Experienced in working in a Further Education (FE) setting
Effective behaviour management and support skills
Creative and artistic in your approach to teaching and learning
