Creative Arts Teaching Assistant

Location: Newcastle upon Tyne

Start Date: Easter 2025

The School and Role

Do you have a background in Creative Arts? Are you interested in gaining experience of working with children? We are looking for individuals with experience in any of the following areas: Drama, Dance, Art, Music, or Media. You will use your skills and knowledge to support children in a school environment.

1. You will work as a Creative Arts Teaching Assistant, providing vital support to both teachers and pupils.
2. You will be required to work closely with pupils, building positive relationships to help them maximize their educational experience while utilizing your knowledge of the creative arts.
3. This role offers the opportunity to gain valuable experience for a potential future in working with children.

Minimum Requirements

The ideal Creative Arts Assistant will have:

1. Experience working with children, young people, or adults with SEN.
2. A warm and friendly nature to build positive relationships with pupils.
3. A nurturing and engaging personality.
