Job Description:

Are you passionate about education and experienced in working with secondary school students? ABC Teachers is seeking dedicated and motivated Cover Supervisors to join our team in Telford. As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in maintaining a positive learning environment in the absence of the regular classroom teacher.

About the role

Key Responsibilities:

1. Supervise and manage secondary school classes during the short-term absence of teachers.
2. Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and ensure students remain engaged in their learning.
3. Maintain classroom discipline and promote a positive learning atmosphere.
4. Assist with administrative tasks related to student attendance and behaviour.
5. Support students' learning and provide feedback on their progress.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Cover Supervisor with experience you will:

1. Previous experience working in a secondary school environment.
2. Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage with students.
3. A passion for education and a commitment to student success.
4. A valid DBS check or willingness to obtain one through ABC Teachers.

The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

1. Previous experience working in a secondary school environment.
