Job description

We are looking for a dedicated and adaptable Cover Supervisor to provide general cover for a secondary school we work with in Southampton. These roles are for long-term placements, typically lasting a minimum of one term, with opportunities to extend further based on school needs.

About the Role:

1. Providing general cover across a variety of subjects in secondary schools.
2. Delivering pre-planned lessons and ensuring a positive learning environment.
3. Managing classroom behaviour and maintaining school policies.
4. Supporting students' learning and progress during staff absences.
5. Building strong relationships with schools and students.

What We're Looking For:

1. Previous experience teaching in a secondary school setting is desirable.
2. Strong classroom management skills and the ability to adapt to different environments.
3. Flexibility, reliability, and a positive approach to teaching.
4. A passion for education and helping students achieve their full potential.
5. Right to work in the UK is essential.
