Cover Supervisor - Worksop

Location: Worksop, Nottinghamshire
Salary: £90 - £120 per day
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Full-time / Part-time

GSL Education is seeking confident and adaptable Cover Supervisors to work in secondary schools across Worksop. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain classroom experience before pursuing a teaching career or for those with a passion for supporting students' learning.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Deliver pre-planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher.
2. Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
3. Support students in completing their work and maintaining focus.
4. Supervise students during lessons, ensuring a positive and engaging learning environment.
5. Provide feedback to teaching staff on student engagement and progress.

Requirements:

1. Previous experience in teaching, tutoring, mentoring, youth work, or classroom support is desirable.
2. Strong classroom management and communication skills.
3. Ability to engage and motivate students across various subjects.
4. A proactive and adaptable approach to different school environments.
5. A DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one.
