Job description

Team Educate are on the lookout for Cover Supervisors to work within Secondary schools in Bristol and the surrounding areas.

Are you a Cover Supervisor looking to work within schools, to help support young learners by covering the class teacher? As a Cover Supervisor, you would be responsible for covering the class teacher's absence. All work will be set, and you will be supported by experienced teachers within the same year group. The years a Cover Supervisor would be expected to cover would be Year 7 - Year 11 (but you will be able to choose what year groups you would be happy to cover).

The successful Cover Supervisor will benefit from:

1. A competitive daily rate between £100 - £130.
2. Guaranteed 5 days work per week (subject to terms).
3. Flexible working (able to choose school, location, and working days).
4. Support from experienced teaching professionals.
5. Full time or part time work available.
6. Working between 8.30 - 3.30 daily.
7. Working with a 5* rated teaching agency with an established and trusted school network.
8. Free courses and training available to all.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage classroom behaviour to maintain a safe and productive environment.
2. Ensure any SEND needs of children are met.
3. Deliver set work accordingly.
4. Support students with their learning needs.
5. Leave handover notes for class teacher upon return.

To be eligible for this position, you are required to have the following:

1. Hold Right to Work in the UK.
2. Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application.
3. Provide references for the last 2 years that can be contacted.
