Job summary

An established industry player is seeking a dedicated Cover Teacher to lead core lessons in a SEMH Primary school in Southall. This full-time role involves teaching pre-planned lessons and supporting pupils with emotional regulation and high-functioning autism. The ideal candidate will have experience in supporting children with special educational needs but this is not essential. You will be part of a supportive environment that values inclusion and the development of therapeutic relationships with students. Cover Supervisor/Cover Teacher

Timeplan Education is recruiting a Cover Teacher to lead core lessons in a SEMH Primary school in Southall, West London. The role would be to teach pre-planned lessons. Experience in supporting pupils with SEND and SEMH is desirable but not essential. You will be working on a full-time, long-term basis.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Comfortable supporting pupils with SEMH, and high-functioning Autism and leading pre-planned lessons
  2. Ability to engage and support pupils' learning
  3. Supporting pupils with emotional regulation
  4. Develop therapeutic relationships with pupils
  5. To promote and support the inclusion of all pupils in learning activities and maximise their achievement
  6. Strong behaviour management

Job Requirements
  1. Experience in supporting children or young adults with SEND and SEMH is desirable but is not essential

  3. Valid DBS registered with the online update service or be willing to apply for a new one
  4. Available 5 days a week and able to commit to at least 12-39 weeks
