Connex Education are delighted to announce we are recruiting for cover supervisors. This is a very exciting opportunity for a dedicated and passionate individual to join our existing team of outstanding Cover Supervisors in secondary education.

We are seeking an enthusiastic teacher to make a real difference in the lives of young people. You would be inspiring and engaging with students in the field of your passion.

Salary: £85 – £100 per day

Duration: Term Time

Requirements:

• Relevant classroom experience or willingness to learn
• GCSE C grade or above, A Level, Degree or equivalent
• DBS on the update service or willingness to apply
• Ability to provide 2 professional references
• Desire to make a difference and inspire
• The ability to travel across your locality with ease

• Have you delivered training to adults?
• Do you have a Degree in a specialist subject?
• Are you a Scout/Brownies or Guide Leader?
• Do you have the ability to lead?
• Are you a good role model?

What does a Cover Supervisor do:

• Provide support to the teachers and students as directed and ensure that classes are appropriately managed during a teacher absence.
• Be responsible for the delivery of pre-planned cover of lessons.
• Undertake classroom activities as directed by teachers to support the teaching and learning process.
• Cover tutor groups as and when needed.
• Input data to support Academies policies in Assessment, Recording, and Reporting.
• Manage the behaviour of pupils to ensure a constructive environment is maintained, using a range of strategies.
• Respond to student needs as they arise in the classroom.
