Position: Cover Supervisor

Location: Wellingborough

With the new year soon upon us, Teaching Personnel have a great opportunity for a Cover Supervisor to provide general cover across our supportive Secondary Schools based in Wellingborough and surrounding areas.

The flexible role will provide cover for pupils across the KS3/KS4 and sometimes KS5 curriculum to meet the needs of schools within the area. There is the potential for longer-term positions for the right candidate.

You will be responsible for the delivery of pre-planned lessons and supervision of pupils to cover PPA and short-term absence, ensuring effective behaviour management in line with school policy and engaging pupils within the learning environment.

Requirements:

• Availability for standard working hours: 8:15 am to 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday.
• Prior experience working in schools is advantageous.
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.
• Subject specific qualifications.
• Full UK Drivers licence.
• Full-time availability.
