Our partner secondary schools in the Sheffield area are seeking reliable and motivated Cover Supervisors to join their teams. This is a fantastic opportunity to support schools through our partnership with Teaching Personnel, a leading education recruitment agency.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Classroom Supervision: Manage classrooms during teacher absences, ensuring students remain focused and engaged.
2. Student Support: Foster a positive environment where students feel encouraged to learn and succeed.
3. Lesson Continuity: Deliver pre-prepared lessons effectively, ensuring learning objectives are met.
4. Classroom Behaviour: Maintain high standards of behaviour management in line with school policies.
5. Policy Adherence: Uphold the school’s policies and procedures, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for all students.

What We’re Looking For:

1. Availability: Flexibility for long-term and day-to-day placements during standard school hours (8:15 am to 3:00 pm).
2. Experience: While experience working in schools is advantageous, we welcome candidates with transferable skills from other roles, especially those involving leadership or working with young people.
3. Communication Skills: Strong communication and classroom management abilities to engage effectively with students.
4. Competitive Pay: Earn between £83.75 and £95 per day, paid through PAYE.
5. Flexibility: Choose from long-term roles or day-to-day assignments to suit your schedule.
6. Professional Support: Enjoy guidance and ongoing support from Teaching Personnel throughout your placement.
