Job Title: Cover Supervisor
Location: North Shields
Salary: GBP100 - GBP120 per day
Start Date: ASAP

We are currently recruiting for a Cover Supervisor in the North Shields area. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a passion for education to join a dynamic and supportive school environment. The role of Cover Supervisor is perfect for someone who enjoys working with young people and wants to make a positive impact on their learning experience.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising classes during teacher absences. You will ensure that students remain on task, providing guidance and support where needed, and ensuring that the classroom environment is conducive to learning.

Key Responsibilities of the Cover Supervisor:

1. Helping pupils with their learning.
2. Managing the behaviour of up to 28 pupils during lessons.
3. Working with teachers to deliver lessons and resources.
4. Assisting in planning and delivering fun and creative lessons.
5. Supporting pupils in building independence and life skills.
6. Ensuring pupils are safe and well cared for.

Requirements for an ideal candidate for the Cover Supervisor role:

1. Available to work Monday to Friday.
2. Have experience as a teaching assistant.
3. Be proactive, energetic, kind, and caring.
4. Hold an enhanced DBS on the update service (or be willing to go through the process with us).
5. Have a fully checkable work history.
