GSL Education are seeking a motivated Cover Supervisor to join a welcoming school in Totton. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience in education while supporting students during teachers’ absence.

Role Overview:
As a Cover Supervisor in Totton, you will take charge of classrooms and ensure students remain engaged and productive in lessons. You'll help foster an environment where students can focus on their work while maintaining good order and discipline. Key Responsibilities for the Cover Supervisor:

1. Supervise classes, ensuring that students follow the lesson plans and complete their tasks.
2. Ensure positive student behaviour and resolve any issues that arise.
3. Provide support for students with additional needs or learning requirements.
4. Maintain a calm and focused classroom environment.
5. Report back to the relevant staff about student progress and behaviour.

Key Requirements for the Cover Supervisor:

1. Previous experience in a classroom setting is desirable but not essential.
2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
3. Ability to manage classroom behaviour and promote positive attitudes towards learning.
4. A proactive and flexible approach to work.
