Cover Supervisor Required for Loughborough Secondary School

GSL Education is currently recruiting a passionate and dedicated Cover Supervisor to join a thriving secondary school in Loughborough. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who have a strong commitment to supporting young people's educational journey.

This role will entail:

1. Classroom Management: Leading classes across a range of subjects and age groups, ensuring that students stay on task and adhere to school policies.
2. Delivering Pre-Set Work: Supervising students as they complete work left by the regular teacher, ensuring clear instructions and providing support where needed.
3. Behaviour Supervision: Managing classroom behavior to create a safe and respectful environment conducive to learning.
4. Support for Students: Encouraging students, answering general questions, and fostering a positive attitude towards learning.
5. Liaising with Staff: Working alongside teachers and school staff to support students' educational progress and address any classroom issues.

Role Requirements:

1. DBS on the Update Service: Essential for compliance and student safety.
2. Right to Work in the UK: Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK.
3. Excellent English and Maths Skills: Ability to communicate effectively and assist with classroom learning.
4. Passion for Education: A genuine commitment to inspiring and guiding students.
5. Strong Behaviour Management Skills: Capability to maintain a focused and respectful classroom environment.
