Job Title: Cover Supervisor

Location: East London

Job Type: Daily Supply work (covering sick call ins)

Job Overview:

We are looking for proactive and capable Cover Supervisors to join our vibrant schools in East London. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role and a strong ability to manage and support students across various subjects when teachers are absent.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Supervise and manage classrooms in the absence of the regular teacher.
2. Ensure that students follow the set work and complete tasks as directed.
3. Maintain a positive and productive classroom environment.
4. Provide support to students as needed and manage any behavioural issues.
5. Liaise with teachers and school staff to ensure continuity of learning.
6. Assist with administrative tasks related to cover supervision as required.

Requirements:

1. Previous experience as a Cover Supervisor or in a similar role within an educational setting.
2. Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
4. Ability to adapt quickly to different subjects and teaching styles.
5. A proactive approach to problem-solving and maintaining a positive learning environment.
6. Relevant qualifications or experience in education are advantageous.
