Cover Supervisor (Full-Time)
Gateacre, Merseyside
£475 - £525 per week (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications)

The School and Role

Vision for Education is currently hiring a Cover Supervisor to work with students in both KS3 and KS4 in a welcoming, co-educational Secondary school based in Gateacre, Liverpool. This is a full-time role, starting immediately, and is ongoing until the end of the academic year. The successful candidate must have experience of working with children up to KS4. This school is a large co-ed secondary school which has a warm, friendly and caring environment. They have extensive facilities including a drama theatre and a range of extracurricular activities centred around creative, sporting, cultural, and enterprise that enrich the learning experience of their pupils.

While you won't be actively teaching, it's important for a Cover Supervisor to have the skills and confidence to keep the class motivated and focused on the activities provided. You will support students as they work through the lesson and help them complete tasks when needed. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the classroom when the teacher is absent. The class teacher will supply all necessary materials and tools for the lesson, and your role will be to deliver it.

Requirements

The desired Cover Supervisor will have:

  1. Experience of working with KS3 and KS4 levels
  2. Have, or be prepared to undergo an Enhanced DBS check
