Cover Supervisor

Location: Bourne
Salary: £90 - £110 per day
Start Date: Easter 2025
Contract Type: Full-Time, Temporary

GSL Education Lincolnshire is looking for a confident and adaptable Cover Supervisor to join a secondary school in Bourne. This is a great opportunity for individuals who are passionate about education and want to gain classroom experience.

Responsibilities:

  1. Supervise classes in the absence of the teacher, ensuring students remain on task.
  2. Deliver pre-planned lesson materials across different subjects.
  3. Manage classroom behavior in line with school policies.
  4. Provide support to students, answering questions and facilitating their learning.
  5. Assist with general school duties when required.

Requirements:
  1. Experience working with young people, preferably in a school setting.
  2. Strong classroom management skills.
  3. The ability to engage and motivate students.
  4. A proactive approach with excellent communication skills.
  5. Have an enhanced DBS registered to the update service or be willing to apply for one through GSL Education Lincolnshire.
