The Role:
The Course Leader of BA (Hons) Acting leads on the artistic vision of the course and involves teaching acting, leading on curriculum, staff, acting content, as well as big picture vision and external artistic work, networks and partnerships. They will provide strategic leadership and management of BA actor training at RADA, working closely with the Director of Training, Director of Technical Theatre and Director of Equity to ensure an integrated and equitable training experience for all students.
We are looking for a dynamic, imaginative, and resilient Course Leader for the BA (Hons) Acting course who will provide strategic and visible leadership, delivering world-leading and industry relevant training, and ensuring a collaborative environment between staff and students across acting and technical courses. The Course Leader will be responsible for an inclusive and rigorous training environment and for building a diverse workforce and leading a cohesive and empowered faculty.
Minimum Requirements:
Relocation: candidates will be expected to live within commutable distance of RADA because an important aspect of leadership within the Academy is being present to staff and students.
