Hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM (Mandatory 30-Minute Unpaid Break)
Start Date: ASAP
Employment Type: Contract (Peak Period, with Potential for Extension)
Vehicle Provided: 3.5T Van (to be parked at depot after work)
Fuel and Insurance: Fully covered by the company.

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Courier Driver to join our team in Bristol. This role is vital to ensuring timely and professional deliveries during our peak operational period, with potential for contract extension based on performance.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Daily Deliveries: Perform 60-70 drops per day, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
2. Route Optimization: Use mapping tools to plan and execute the most efficient delivery routes.
3. Customer Interaction: Provide excellent service, addressing customer inquiries professionally.
4. Vehicle Care: Maintain the 3.5T van responsibly and report any issues immediately.
5. Compliance: Follow traffic laws, safety standards, and company protocols.
6. Documentation: Log delivery details accurately, including proof of delivery and exceptions.

Requirements:

1. Eligibility Documents: HMRC/PTA information and DBS (Police Criminal Check).
2. License: Valid driver's license with a clean record.
3. Experience: Previous courier or delivery experience is preferred but not mandatory.
4. Skills: Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
5. Proficiency in navigation and route planning.
6. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
7. Physical Fitness: Capability to lift and carry packages.
