Responsibilities / Duties:

1. Locate parcels for your route in the warehouse, scan your parcels and load your vehicle.
2. Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries.
3. Ensure all parcels are properly secured during transportation.
4. Safely and efficiently drive a courier vehicle to deliver parcels to correct locations.
5. Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain necessary compliance for proof of delivery.
6. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving your vehicle.

Skills:

1. Previous experience driving a van.
2. Ability to drive a manual vehicle.
3. Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
4. Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Work Environment Includes:

1. On the job training - 1 week.
2. Flexible working days (5 out of 7 required - Tuesday-Saturday available).
3. Depot / Warehouse environment to load parcels 8am-10am (approx).
4. Driving a van 10am-5pm (approx).

Requirements from Applicants:

1. A full UK driving licence for a minimum of 24 months.
2. You must be 25 years of age and above.
3. Provide proof of National Insurance.
4. Have a valid clean DBS certificate.
5. Have a right to work in the UK.

We now use hire vans and provide the details of the company we use upon your start date.
