Job Title: Forklift Operative (Counterbalance)
Location: Linford, Essex
Hours: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM, Monday to Friday
Salary: Competitive (based on experience)

Job Description: We are seeking a reliable and experienced Forklift Operative to join our team in Linford, Essex. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a forklift truck to support daily warehouse operations, ensuring the efficient movement of goods around the site.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Operate a Forklift Truck (FLT) to load, unload, and transport goods within the warehouse or distribution area.
2. Ensure all stock is stored and handled safely and in compliance with health and safety regulations.
3. Assist in organizing and maintaining the warehouse, ensuring that goods are properly stored and easily accessible.
4. Carry out regular checks and maintenance of the forklift, reporting any issues or faults.
5. Maintain accurate records of stock movements and inventory levels.
6. Assist with general warehouse duties as required, including picking and packing.
7. Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure smooth warehouse operations.

Requirements:

1. Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence (must have at least 1 year of FLT experience).
2. MP Connect card preferred, as this is a requirement for access to the site.
3. Previous experience in a warehouse or forklift operating role.
4. Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow health and safety protocols.
5. Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
6. Reliable, punctual, and committed to meeting deadlines.
