Counterbalance Driver & Production Assistant

We have an exciting opportunity for a Counterbalance Driver and Production Assistant based in Bedford for one of our clients on a full-time permanent basis. Our client is a long-established and global exporter with a well-regarded reputation.

Responsibilities of the Counterbalance Driver and Production Assistant:

1. Diagnose and report faults on packaging machinery.
2. Work to production targets.
3. Load trucks using a counterbalance forklift.
4. Complete stitcher checks.
5. Label and wrap pallets ready for dispatch.
6. Pack on production lines when necessary.

Requirements for a successful Counterbalance Driver and Production Assistant:

1. Valid Counterbalance forklift licence.
2. Attention to detail and accuracy.
3. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
4. Strong IT skills with experience using Excel.
5. Previous forklift and warehouse experience.

Summary of the Counterbalance Driver and Production Assistant role:

Salary: £26,972 per annum + £3,288 shift allowance
Location: Bedford
Type of Contract: Permanent, Full-time.
Hours: Working 4 on 4 off, rotational shifts of days and nights.
