Counselling Lecturers - Sessional
£36.39 per hour (£29.98 + £6.41 holiday pay)
To
£42.62 per hour (£35.11 + £7.51 holiday pay)
We're expanding our dynamic department due to increased demand for our outstanding courses. We're seeking lead and co-tutors to deliver Level 2 Counselling.
Lead Tutor Requirements:
Applicants need to have the following credentials:
- 150 hours counselling skills and theory qualification at level 2 and above. e.g. CSK-L2 plus CST-L3
- Teaching qualification or be working towards one.
- 1 year experience using counselling skills in a workplace setting.
In addition, ALL applicants will need to have the following credentials:
- Be a member of a professional association of counselling or psychotherapy (i.e. BACP or UKCP)
- Be able to evidence CPD, a minimum of 30 hours and committed to continue professional development.
- To hold a minimum of a Level 3 Award in Education and Training or be working towards this or another teaching qualification.
- Willingness to work with co-tutors and in the wider tutor team.
- Available to attend termly / quarterly team meeting outside of teaching hours.
- Passion and interest in developing students and the counselling profession.
- Experience with various counselling modalities, especially person-centered/humanistic, is advantageous.
