As part of the ongoing growth of its Estates Intelligence, KBR is actively recruiting to expand its team to deliver current and future public sector Estates Intelligence contracts.
We are looking for a person with the right credentials to work within an established cost-management team. The role would ideally suit someone who has experience of costs / estimating within the construction, property, buildings, or facilities management sectors.
The role is to work as a Cost Manager to provide Estates Intelligence services.
This is a hands-on role requiring a candidate with the ability to work both independently and with cross-functional teams, focused on delivering results.
The key purposes of the role are to ensure that work orders are commercially verified as per the terms of the supplier contractual agreements; communicate in a timely manner with suppliers on all disputed work orders; assist with the resolution of supplier disputes; identify and analyse trends in contract pricing discrepancies; prepare regular and ad-hoc reports on the above; and make recommendations and provide solutions to address the contractual discrepancies and disputes.
In order to be successful in this role, you will have a positive outlook and work effectively with others in order to maintain constructive relationships within the team, across the business and externally. You will have sound financial literacy and the ability to record, manage and utilise data to provide meaningful information on which management of the project and suppliers can be rationally based. You will commit to putting customers first and deliver high-quality output to a service that meets and often exceeds expectations.
