The Construction team is an integral part of the transformation and provides expertise, and drives change to achieve maximum commercial value, ensuring our property portfolio is fit for purpose to support the operation.
To support the construction strategy, we have a vacancy for a Cost and Data Manager to provide quality cost advice to ensure Royal Mail's construction activity is delivered for the best value through the collection, evaluation and distribution of cost data.
The role
As the Cost and Data Manager, you’ll play a vital part within the team which appoints and oversees the performance of the supply chain in line with standards and policies. Reporting to the Construction Commercial Manager, you’ll ensure Royal Mail's property estate is developed by competent and appropriately priced partners, cost data is available to plan spend effectively, and all tendering processes are compliant.
Accountabilities
Location: Nationwide with UK travel, frequent/weekly attendance at 185 Farringdon Road, London.
