Cost Accountant (Interim)

Job Opportunity: Cost Accountant (Remote with Travel)

Interim - 6 month Fixed term contract - potential opportunity to be made permanent
Location: Remote with travel to the office 2-3 times per month, located one hour north of Milton Keynes.

We're seeking a proactive Cost Accountant to join our clients finance team on an interim basis. You will be part of a team that provides cost support for the wider business, where you'll gain exposure to a large global recognised brand.

1. Analyse and report on cost structures and financial performance.
2. Collaborate with various departments to ensure accurate cost reporting.
3. Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.
4. Provide insights and recommendations to optimise cost efficiency.
5. Month end support.
6. Provide insight into Fixed asset to stakeholders.
7. Project support for the wider business.

1. Part-qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent).
2. Strong analytical and numerical skills.
3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
4. Excellent communication and organisational skills.
5. Experience with SAP is highly desirable.
