Cost Accountant

Seeking a highly skilled Cost Accounting Manager to oversee and manage the international cost accounting function for our client, a global Manufacturing company based in Herefordshire. The role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate product costs, inventory valuation, and financial integrity across global operations. This position plays a key role in decision support, process improvements, and ensuring compliance with internal procedures and financial reporting controls.

• Lead cost accounting and financial reporting, including month-end close, inventory reconciliation, and gross margin analysis
• Implement accounting policies, manage excess/obsolete inventory, and track key performance metrics
• Support ERP systems, conduct variance analysis, and assist with budgets and forecasts
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors, tax planning and ERP migrations
• Provide financial insights and analysis to management, including ROI for manufacturing capital investments
