Cost Accountant

Our Ledbury based client is seeking a Cost Accountant on a temporary basis to support this small finance team during a busy period.

This is a temporary position with an immediate start and would suit a candidate seeking a short-term position, although those candidates considering a permanent role are encouraged to apply as this position has the potential to develop into a longer-term project.

What you can expect:

1. Salary: 40,000+ per annum, depending on experience
2. Working hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week (reduced hours considered)
3. Immediate start on a temporary basis following an initial interview period
4. Weekly pay
5. Holiday pay accrued throughout the assignment
6. Rural location - own transport essential

What you will be doing:

1. Management accounts and analysis responsibilities
2. Cost accounting
3. Month end preparation
4. Cashflow and budgeting
5. Xero
6. Working closely with a Finance Manager to support up to and beyond year end

What we are looking for:

1. Management accounts experience
2. Cost accounting experience
3. Proficient across financial functions within a small business
4. Xero experience preferred, although not essential as system training will be provided
